They’re coming to us active duty folks and asking us if we have any family or friends who want to join.

I told my commander, that after 20 years of service, I regret my choice to join. I’m sure not going to recommend it to anyone I like.

I don't wear any apparel that indicates I served in the military. All ball caps have been retired to my closet. After almost 30 years active I am actually embarrassed to mention I was in the military. Damn shame!
