“Give it a few years. There is no battery made that does not have a limited number of charge / discharge cycles.”
Nor is there any engine that does not have a limited life.
BTW, have you heard about Tesla’s “100 year” battery?
I have seen your many many posts and replies here pushing Tesla. I have to suspect that you are either heavily invested or an employee or principle of the company.
I Do Not Want A Battery Powered Car.
And I know I speak for millions. Make them available if you want, but don’t try shoving them down our throats.
And no, I have never heard of the “100 year battery” nor do I believe one will ever exist.
There is no getting around the fact that EVs are impractical, extremely expensive to buy, limited in range, inconvenient at best to “refuel”, heavy, and extremely expensive to drive when you factor in the cost of replacing the battery pack. Never mind the environmental destruction caused by the manufacturing and mining processes required.
