I think we ought to have an “anti” of some sort penalizing lying to “get back at” someone for doing a false report no matter how mild or mean the report is.
I despise people who lie..just despise them.
I would not have invited them in. I would have also refused to discuss one single thing without my attorney present.
They would know beforehand from my cellphone records - which they of course get - that my phone at least was nowhere near Washington DC at the time. So they couldn’t possibly have any actual evidence that would place me within a couple hundred miles of the place.
