I’ve had economist friends (Who are conservative!) tell me that Krugman is an expert on an aspect of international trade. Is deserving of a Nobel Prize in Economics in the narrow ‘specialty’. On everything else they say he’s an extreme partisan shill! No kidding!
Note I’ve never bothered to research exactly what this economics specialty is!
There were Soviet economist that got prizes so why not Krugman. Doesn’t say much for economics as an objective field of study.
