They did the same with infowars but it was Alex Jones so nobody cared. He started putting a place on his site where you can download the app right into your phone. Google cannot stop android aps, they can just make it a little harder to find.
Absolutely, why they didn’t do that from the beginning I have no clue. There are even open source programs that provide all the prebuilt modules to mix and match elements and make your own app in a few days. It would only take a few hours to add it to a download link on their own site.
