For sure he is being transferred to another cushy Federal job.
My first question is how close is he to retirement to make him think he could get away with this? Other sources say he’s a 25 year FBI veteran.
Fact is people who break those rules do out of arrogance. They think they will get away with it. The damage is done. Can it be fixed? His retirement check needs to be threatened as a warning to others. Make him fight for it in court. Jail time won’t happen but he needs to go to sleep thinking it just might.
