As much as I enjoy Russia getting its clock cleaned, this article is several months behind the times. The Moskva was sunk in April and Ukraine recaptured Snake Island at the end of June.

Since the fall of the USSR, the Russian navy has its share of problems. The Moskva needed a full refit and update it never had. If the command ship of the Black Fleet was suffering from lack of maintenance and modernization, what does that say about the rest of the fleet?
