This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Newest Russian tank with rubber instead dynamic protection: Evidence of crisis in military industry
Lack of spare parts and low quality. Russian military industrial complex factories faced a shortage of foreign parts, engines, and electronics. Western sanctions have become a barrier to such imports. Accordingly, there is no official export now. British Intelligence has reported that Russia cannot fulfill some orders for its army because many of the spare parts were previously imported from third countries. More about the crisis in Russia’s military industrial complex in our story.

Ukraine Situation Report: Kyiv Claims Russia Is Running Low On Missiles
Kyiv estimates Russia has just 20 percent of its Iskander ballistic missiles left as other stocks have dwindled from constant strikes.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/ukraine-situation-report-russia-running-low-on-missiles-six-months-in
Excerpts:
Ukrainian intelligence reports Russia has at most 45% of its missiles remaining ...
Russia faces a “difficult situation” with its 3M14 Kalibr land-attack cruise missiles (LACM), and at most 20% of its 9K720 Iskander-M short-range ballistic missiles (SRBM) remain ...
Another sign of Russia’s ground attack missile inventory predicament has been the increasing use of missiles that are not primarily designed for ground attack. While designed and optimized for use against aircraft, Russia has put the S-300 to work in a land-attack role during the summer’s fighting. This, as well as the use of both new and Cold War-era anti-ship missiles against ground targets, indicates an effort to conserve the more accurate and modern land-attack missiles ...
Quickly building more land attack missiles will be problematic for Russia as sanctions have limited the country’s ability to produce higher-tech weapons and it turns out that many of them are packed with western electronics. Russia going to Iran for large amounts of drones is also indicative of its predicament.

Russia Pulls Its ‘Syrian’ S-300 Missile Battery, Ships It To Black Sea
Russia ‘gifted’ Syria the S-300 after a friendly fire incident, but it remained in Russia control and now it’s heading towards Ukraine.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/russia-pulls-its-syrian-s-300-sam-battery-ships-it-to-black-sea
Excerpts:
The Masyaf, Syria S-300 battery is believed to be an advanced S-300PMU-2 ... Given Russia’s reported missile shortage, the S-300s could also be used as guided missiles against Ukrainian ground targets. Ukrainian military intelligence estimates Russia is running low on Kalibr cruise missiles and Iskander ballistic missiles, two of its primary land-attack systems used since the war’s opening salvo. We wrote about the S-300 system’s little-known land-attack capability after strikes on Mykolaiv Oblast in July, which you can read about here. The S-300 has been used in a similar manner many times since.

••Energy:
It is getting worse. While there are no changes in the European situation, its different matter in Japan. They have turned on 7 idling nuclear reactors, and now have 17 running. Japan has also decided to invest in a new generation of reactors for power plants.
Some examples of energy impacts: A Finnish toilet paper company is reducing production of the paper in Slovakia and Germany. A Germany aluminum recycling company that makes products to the beverage, marine, automotive industries has cut production by 50%. The Czech government is warning of social unrest and explosive changes of European top leaders as Europe boils
••Russia:
Effects of Sanctions, according to Russian sources:
Russia is cannibalizing it’s helicopter fleet to keep the remaining helicopters and airplanes running. This is where sanctions do work, and do they do create problems for Russian economy as a whole. This is where sanctions are appropriate.
They really create huge problems is in technological areas, because Russian economy is not producing any technological products; anything starting from servers and going into all this aviation electronics - all of this all of this is fully imported from from other countries.
This is where Russia is super dependent on external suppliers and economy super dependent; this can potentially create huge problems at technological level and providing. For example: wireless communication services, internet services, pretty much anything.
That really hampers Russia’s ability to continue the war without really hurting the West. Unfortunately, that’s not the policy that’s being pursued by the West.
••HIMARS:
Antonioski Bridge continues to receive more hits. But the Orcs managed a surprise attack and captured a village near Sniharivaga.
———————————————————————————————————————
Summary:
No major changes.
Key areas:
- Izyum bridgehead: no changes
- catchup update:
- Ukrainian troops liberated few villages on the bridgehead over past week
- Dmytrivka, Brazhkivka, Dibrovne, and potentially Dovgenke.
We don’t have detailed information on what has transpired there.
- North Donbass area: no changes
- Donetsk West: no changes.
- Kherson bridgehead: no changes
1. Kharkiv: No changes.
••Orc probing attack goes nowhere.
2. Izyum bridgehead: No changes.
••Surprising changes: UA troops managed to squeeze Orcs out of their positions, significantly shrinking the buffer area and capturing 5 villages. This seems more like withdrawal of Orcs under light UA pressure. (Better Orc troops were pulled from here to West of Donetsk some time back.) Capture confirmed by Orc sources.
3. North Donbass: No changes.
••Northern area: Soladar and Bakgmut attacks continue. Also Orc attack toward Serebrianka.
••Southern area: Orc attacks continue by Wagner against the UA Maj. 30th and captured Kadama village. Also attacks toward Rhiannovka and Kurjumevka villages.
4. West of Donetsk: No changes.
••Piskey attacks continue. Battle for M-40 continues.
5. Vugledar - Velyka Novosilka, Gulyapole:
•• Orc 810th NB attacks toward Velyka Novosilka.
6. Kherson bridgehead:
••Orc troops continue assaulting Pervomais’ke with artillery.
Can we take out 20 more in 3 days? That would make it a thousand in 6 months. Can’t believe Russia’s sacrificing the old, decrepit stuff. Those tanks are manned.
Disaster for Putin this weekend in Kherson. Too many goodwill gestures to count.
“Can we take out 20 more in 3 days?”
No, but will hit 1000 in September.
“Disaster for Putin this weekend in Kherson.”
Not possible. It is all going strictly according to plan.

3rd AC to the rescue! Or more Tank targets for my stats!
“The volunteer battalions constituting Russia’s 3rd Army Corps will likely deploy to Ukraine in ad hoc combined arms units to renew offensive operations, possibly on the Donetsk City axis and the Southern Axis. The volunteer battalions Russia has been forming have been divided into two general groups, as ISW has previously reported. Some battalions are deploying to the front lines as soon as they have completed their abbreviated initial training. Others have been coalescing into a new 3rd Army Corps.[1] An analysis by Janes Intelligence Group of new images from combat training for elements of the 3rd Army Corps at the Mulino Training Ground in Nizhny Novogorod found 3rd Army Corps troops training with more modern Russian equipment such as BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles, T-80BVM and T-90M tanks, and the latest AK-12 assault rifle variants.[2] The other Russian volunteer battalions that have fought in Ukraine, such as the North Ossetian “Alania” Battalion, have entered combat with older equipment. The fact that the 3rd Army Corps units are training on better gear and apparently being held back to deploy in more coherent combined arms groups suggests that the Russian military intends to commit them to offensive operations and hopes to regain momentum somewhere along the front line. Elements of the 3rd Army Corps are reportedly already deploying from Nizhny Novgorod closer towards Russia’s border with Ukraine. The Georgia-based Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) observed T-80BV and T-90M tanks that were in Mulino likely of the 3rd Army Corps deploy to Rostov Oblast on August 27.[3] If this report is correct, it could suggest that the Russian military intends to commit the 3rd Army Corps to reinforce offensive operations near Donetsk City, where drives around Mariinka, Pisky, and Avdiivka have been stalling after making some gains. Elements of the 3rd Army Corps may also deploy to the Southern Axis. A Russian Local media outlet reported that the Khabarovsk Krai “Baron Korf” signals battalion will support the deployment of Russian field posts in Kherson Oblast and provide command and control to the new Russian 3rd Army Corps, indicating the Kremlin will likely deploy 3rd Army Corps elements to Kherson and Ukraine’s south.[4]3rd Army Corps elements are unlikely to generate effective combat power, however. Better equipment does not necessarily make more effective forces when the personnel are not well-trained or disciplined, as many members of the 3rd Army Corps’ volunteer units are not. Previous military experience is not required for many of 3rd Army Corps’ volunteer elements.[5] Images of the 3rd Army Corp elements have shown the volunteers to be physically unfit and old.[6] Analysts have also noted that Russia’s lack of experienced non-commissioned officers (NCOs) will hurt the 3rd Army Corps effectiveness.[7] ISW has previously commented on reports of indiscipline among the personnel of the 3rd Army Corps as well.[8]”

EU foreign ministers meeting on Aug. 30 are set to back a suspension of a visa facilitation agreement for Russians, three unnamed officials told the Financial Times.
A suspension of a visa agreement signed in 2007 would remove preferential treatment for Russians when applying for all EU visas, requiring more documents, making them more expensive, and significantly increasing waiting times.”
