Carl Gustavs are non-standard equipment in the US Arsenal that Special Operations Forces like. They get anything they want (which I am totally in favor of).

Yes, they are nice and flexible, but they can be instantly substituted with other available weapons.

Because they are non-standard, there is not a big wartime inventory of them stockpiled, to draw from, as there is for most of the other aid. Its a special case.
