Buildings and infra-structure demolished in Ukraine-—too many to count.

I admire any one defending her/his country.

What I despise is my tax money going to Ukraine, and 90% of it can not be accounted for. I did not know big guy’s cut was 90%. I thought it was 10%.

Ukraine: military situation update with maps, August 22, 2022

Extra:
Ukraine Situation Report: Russia Building Pontoon Bridge Into Kherson
With the Antonovsky Bridge still out of action due to HIMARS strikes, Russia appears to be creating a pontoon bridge across the Dnipro River (alongside the Antonovsky Bridge).
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/ukraine-situation-report-russia-building-pontoon-bridge-into-kherson

———————————————————————————————————————
••Military situation:
The only thing that really happened is that Russian troops captured a village on Kherson bridgehead, but beyond that there is not much progress.

••Crimea Attacks:
Antonivsky bridge damaged and cannot be used by RGF. (Edit: they are building a pontoon bridge along side of it - see story above.) Nova Kahovka dam road still functioning. Railroad bridge situation unclear.

US attacking depots in the Luhansk’ region & Rostov-on-Don. These attacks do no good - do not change the overall situation - and are contributing to UA slowly losing the war.

Chief Commander of the UA mentioned the UA lost about 9,000 dead to date. WiU thinks that number is definitely 20,000-25,000. This is the first official admission of heavy losses; before it was secret and not discussed. Russia number are similar and some would say less, 3,000-4,000. But, if you count the number of dead of the forced conscripts from the temporarily occupied regions, the numbers are probably equal. Ukraine cannot sustain 1:1 losses. They have to be 1:3.5 to have any chance of winning because that is the size of Russia: 3.5 X Ukraine.

••Discussion on Energy and Food:
(NG and electric prices rise) industries cannot survive ... German fertilizer company shut, Dutch zinc company shut, Slovakian aluminum company shut ... things are really getting out of control. That’s all the result of this misguided energy policy, and what we specifically mean is the sole focus on alternative energy. The forced transition to alternative energy simply does not work; it backfires.

Even more problematic, the Russian leadership realizes that this cannot happen simply due to the principles of physics or what it really means is that cost of energy gonna skyrocket for everyone.

We’re really gonna return to some kind of form of feudalism or in some parts of the world to slavery because, if you think that those things of the past, they were things of the past only because of their economic advancement and energy availability advancement that mankind had in those times. If we go back in terms of energy availability, we’re going to go back to those systems that existed before the current system.

This is the situation that is happening and as this starts to take affect, not only in Europe - as we you know mentioned before a couple videos before, it starts to effect the US.

(Discussion of US prices) ... its the artificially constrained supply of energy, to be specific, that’s effecting everything else, including the supply chains.

As the price of energy rises, the price of food follows. Until the point that both are unaffordable. And that means unrest, as hungry people demand food.

(Edit: your garden may feed you, but what is to stop the mob of hungry people from stripping it? Remember you demanded that the police be defunded ... You may drive off the first mob with your guns, but what about the second? What about the sniper on the hill, forest, knoll that shoots you as you garden? What about the poor little hungry waif that walks up to you just close enough to pull a gun and shoot you?)

———————————————————————————————————————

What I despise is my tax money going to Ukraine,

Really? So you’d rather it went to some worthy Democrat cause in some trillion dollar 2000 page bill no one reads and where most of the money goes to slush funds, cronies and none of it is ever accounted for?

Democrat bills are yuge free money gicew away programs, and since in my 62 years in United States I have never collected one penny in free benefits (never was unemployed), BUT At LEAST THAT MONEY GOES TO AMERICANS. I love all Americans, rich, poor, regardless of color. But I have no use for some distance country in Europe which is well known for being the most corrupt in Europe.

BUT At LEAST THAT MONEY GOES TO AMERICANS

How do you figure that? Don’t you count all the money spent on illegals? Healthcare free phones, free food, free transportation, free housing, etc? Don’t you count all the money that goes to Democrat overseas buddies, aka foreigners, non-Americans?

Don’t you realize that countries are interconnected now in all aspects and to allow one to be destroyed hurts America? You may not like it, but that is the reality. Isolationism got us into WWI and WWII - care to repeat that?

“US to announce $3 billion in new military aid for Ukraine-official”

“The $3 billion weapons assistance package would be the largest such assistance package that Washington has generated for Ukraine in the six months since Russian troops poured over its borders in February.”

“BUT At LEAST THAT MONEY GOES TO AMERICANS”

Nearly all the military spending for Ukraine goes to Americans.

It is sent to Lockheed Martin, Boeing, etc for weapons. They employ Americans to produce the weapons.

The drawdown of US inventories will eventually get rebuilt by US workers.

Economic assistance to Ukraine is different. But military spending is sent to Americans.

Hahahaha most of that military equipment is being sold by Zelensky on black market. And we tax payers must pay to replace that military hardware, which is additional taxes.

I sometimes wonder about IQ of some posters here.

The money spent by SOME politicians for illegals is way less than 1% of what Americans are receiving in food stamps, unemployment checks for 99 weeks, rent subsidies, medicaid, free Obama phones, free internet, subsidies to Obamacare signups, free transport for medical services, student loans which are later forgiven, aid to dependent children, free contraceptives to poor, etc etc etc.

I guess you were never a manager of construction or engineering projects, so have no clue about percentages spent for various categories.

“US to announce $3 billion in new military aid for Ukraine-official”

ABC reports: “an additional roughly $3 billion in aid to train and equip Ukrainian forces to fight for years to come, U.S. officials said... The money will fund contracts for drones, weapons and other equipment that may not see the battlefront for a year or two, they said.”

Sounds like it may be production/Acquisition contracts, more so than Presidential drawdown out of inventory. Also, money for more of a standing training program for the Ukrainian Military.

Sounds like they are gearing up for a 2-3 year war.

I still haven’t seen any “after” pictures from the recent Antonivsky Bridge strike. This seems longer than usual, to get some OSINT BDA.

Apparently, the picture I posted the other day from Freeper BBQToadRibs2 (with the black and yellow lettering) was not of that strike, but rather a general meme about blowing up bridges.

I’m expecting missile attacks on Kyiv.

The attacks on civilian targets just harden anti-RuZZian attitudes in the West.
