Wow, our dear 91 year old neighbor has bad dementia and looks JUST LIKE THAT. The same slow unsteady motions, gaping look, and dead stare. Now and then, there are sparks of lucidity, but not many.
We’ve lived across the street from them for 39 years now and the last ten have been hard to watch. To their credit, his lovely wife goes walking with him every day and she has the patience of Job to keep helping him out.
But Biden? That is just downright scary. Absolutely and pitifully scary. And don’t forget that it was his execrable wife who did this to him.

I had a grandfather who is the same way. The blank stares, confused, slow Movements with the occasional lucid moments. It probably explains why he is in Delaware so much, as I recall having them in a familiar place helped them a little bit, same thing with having a familiar person, such as his wife around so much.
When it got to be too much for my grandmother to take care of him and he had to go into a nursing home specializing in that he went downhill quickly as it was somewhere he didn’t remember.
