GOT’s final season ended my interest in any other GOT prequels, sequels or any other “quels”!

It was so poorly done and an obvious rush job. It was clear the actors had had enough and were only interested in cashing their checks and moving on.

I never saw the Game of Thrones TV Series but have watched enough clips of it on YouTube to give the the gist of it. It was enough to get me to tackle the book series. At some point, I'll get around to watching the complete TV series version but the books are not complete yet.

There are two volumes yet to be released, "The Winds Of Winter" and "A Dream Of Spring." I'm pretty sure that Martin will deviate quite a bit from how the TV series ended, especially after the audience reaction to it.

That is, if he ever gets those two books finished. George RR Martin is pushing into his mid-70s and doesn't look too healthy based on photos of him. In fact, he looks like he could play the role of one of the aging maesters on the TV show!

I hope he's able to push those final books out because as I said earlier, he's a very good writer.
