“I hope there is something in writing to corroborate this. Not that I don’t trust President Trump but without something to back it up it looks very weak and self serving.”
President Trump’s statement is CORRECT. As a matter of law, as President, he could declassify anything he wanted, for good cause, for bad cause, for no cause, or even JUST BECAUSE.
I’m not disputing that Trump had the power to do it. I’m just wondering whether there’s any evidence that he actually did it.
