Ripple/XRP is one of the major building blocks to replacing the SWIFT system. Once ripple is out from under the SEC’s ridiculousness the dominos will start to fall fast. There will be an established digital currency that will replace the physical dollar. And if you hold some of those soon to be very very valuable XRP coins (me included) there will be some very very rich people who will then have options. Me personally? Im getting off this sinking ship called the USA. I can’t take this madhouse anymore.

If I am correct, the funding was marked as "mandatory spending" meaning it cannot be cut. It is like entitlements.
