Half the country believes all kinds of stuff about Trump simply because the media has said it repeatedly.

The only examples they can name are things that were demonstrable lies (Charlotte) OR warranted (he wanted an investigation of corruption in the Ukraine).

They never hear the retractions (if there are any) - they only hear the narrative repeated over and over.

It’s effective. They demonized Trump just as they deified Obama. There are still a few million “republicans” who believe Trump was a Russian stooge despite no evidence to support the absurd idea. In fact, there are mounds of evidence to support that the narrative was created as a campaign tactic by Hillary and then used by the swamp to cripple the Trump administration and take back congress.

Most investigated President in history and they got zip, but it does not matter because they brainwashed half the country with a lie (same thing with “Covid”).

All true what you said... and it’s beyond frustrating.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This morning, as I was walking my dogs, I took note of the Sunday newspaper I saw in several folks driveways. I thought to myself, in this day and age, who pays to read the lies in the Chicago Tribune? The answer to that question is that I have quite a few “mis-informed” folks in my neighborhood. No doubt the ones that vote “D”.

As Mark Twain once said, “If you don’t read the newspaper, you are uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed.”

Boy is that the truth.

I ask people why they don’t like Trump, they tell me his tweets were too rude or mean. (It’s really all they have)

I say “which tweet was it that turned you sour?” Silence.

Honest people have a reason why they don’t like someone and can tell you exactly why that is. Half the country is not honest. Crazy.
