DeSantis absolutely does have the authority.

Dan Bongino explained this quite well – you are not obligated to write A traffic ticket on a case by case basis if you are a policeman.

If you are a District attorney, you have discretion on a case by case basis to prosecute or not prosecute A particular crime.

But, you cannot make a blanket statement that you are not going to enforce a law that is on the books, legally passed by legislation.

In his example that he gave, he said you can go out and stop someone who is speeding, but have to discretion not to give them a ticket.

But you cannot go into work that day and say “I am not going to write speeding tickets anymore for people who are speeding.“

I don’t think this guy is going to have a leg to stand on, and he shouldn’t. He should be dismissed.

Absolutely correct. Warren is stupid. He should have stealthily done Soros’ bidding like all the other corrupt AGs.
