Inside Ukrainian Political Circles:
What has happened over the past 10 days:
Hopefully, this helps you to understand the common thread or trend that’s been going on in terms of new people that have been appointed.

I made a video on July 9 about Yermak and his connection to the Russian KGB and his father own to Russian spy agencies.

There were a bunch of more people that are connected. There was accusations from our US Representative Victoria Spartz that led to dismissal of some of their officials in Ukrainian government.

There was Attorney General fired, Iryna Venediktova. We mentioned at that time that she was pretty competent, was a pretty shrewd bureaucrat, and she wanted to fight, and she didn’t want to leave. The next day, she folded and left without creating too much noise, without any disruption.

Now it’s becoming clear why: she was offered position as Ukrainian ambassador to Switzerland which is nice a position: long-term post government position, well paid, do nothing, and stay in a nice place.

Andrey Kostin:
The new person who was appointed Attorney General is Andrey Kostin.

This was done in order to consolidate power by Yermak, and and the more we think about this, Yermak is just a lightning rod for Zelenski. Zelenski is a pretty power hungry individual that runs the show, and Yermak is just a lightning rod. (Edit: WiU seems to have changed his tune about who runs the show. Did someone get to him?)

So what happens is Andrey Kostin is the best friend of Yermak and his protege. They now have a puppet attorney general that will do whatever is needed - without asking a single question. He was from the same from the Zelenski’s party, The Peoples Servant.

Now you can understand this consolidation of power, again connected to all Russian Special Services.

Then Zelenski appointed the Kherson Governor, his name is Yaroslav Yanushevych, who was even more deeply connected to Yanukovych government.

President Yanukovych’s Economic Tszar’s name was Azarov, who came into power in about 98-97. We have strong suspicion that he was a KGB asset, and his goal was to control financial and economic life in Ukraine, make regulations and laws as unbearable as possible, to create as much corruption as possible.

Azarov was in charge of Ukrainian Tax Administration, the equivalent in US it would be IRS. He was always sort of focused on creating difficult conditions for private businesses: raising taxes, creating more regulations - creating as many problems as possible, so the businesses don’t flourish, and the entrepreneurs try to leave the country. Azarov ran the economic life of the country, since about 97-98, until President Yanukovych was ousted and fled Ukraine.

He took Azarov with him to Russia. Now Azarov sometimes speaks on Russian propaganda channels: talking all of the negativities about Ukraine. Y. Yanushevych was trusted by Azarov and is the best friend of Azarov’s son who also fled the country with Azarov.

Y(aroslav). Yanushevych:
In 2014, when President Yanukovych fled, a new government came in. There was a law passed that prevented people like Y. Yanushevych, who served the previous government, to to be in power, to participate in a new government.

Nevertheless, once Zelenski was elected in 2019, the law went to the court in 2020 or 2021 and revoked the regulation, allowing him to be reinstated himself into power. Now he’s appointed as a governor of Kherson. In Ukraine, it’s not an elected position, it is appointed by the President.

Olga Sovgyrya:
The third person, Olga Sovgyrya. She is newly appointed judge of the Constitutional Court, the US equivalent would be the US Supreme Court. Again the same connections. She she worked with Andre Portnow.

You may want to watch that video from July 9 and subsequent videos, falling over the following days. (July 9 link - https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/4077394/posts#39)

that were sort of looking at the Portnow and then Danchinko all of those people and so

She was working with Portnow as legal research in the university, and the legal department was run by Portnow. She was his protege, and at that time, she wrote a research paper for a Constitutional Court of Ukraine essentially green lighting the signing of the agreement with Russia by Yanukovych that allowed Russia to have a Crimean base till 2047 which was a mistake and not even mistake, it was done by the hands of Yanukovych and his people at the Russia’s request. He was totally Russian puppet. This was all arranged and and set up; so she was instrumental in all of this.

She wrote research paper saying that Constitutional Court should stay away from this issue and so on: you don’t need to say anything against it, all you need to say is “Okay I’m going to be neutral. I’m going to stay away” and that’s enough for for the things to go in the way Russia’s Special Services wanted.

That’s what happened. This is again building. This sort of case about the old Yermak Russian connections and Russian infiltration in the Ukrainian top politicians. All of the three new appointees are key figures who influence many things, and they are all tied to the KGB.

This is a quick update and understanding of the trends even-though there is a war, Ukraine is really on the edge of a total military and economy-wise disaster.

Nevertheless people who were appointed are suspected Russian assets in Ukraine,

Economic Situation in Ukraine:
Ukrainian Central Bank was prohibiting foreign currency exchange points to show the exchange rates and so manipulating their currency in a detrimental way. This is again action that really undermines economic freedom, financial freedom and opportunity to create your own business. This is an attempt to create a financial tyranny.

Add all of these people that connected to Russia and you can see the policies being done by Ukrainian political leaders There is another curious news that Zelenski revoked diplomatic passports from 225 members of Ukraine Parliament (that has 450 members), but because some territories occupied so the real number was about 410.

A majority of Ukrainian Parliament, including his own party, most people are in his own party, and this is again the reason it’s being done so this members of the Parliament would not go outside of the country.

They don’t share their own independent views that don’t align with Zelenski agenda. This is a monopolization and desire to have a full control of everything - in many ways not much different from Russia.

Having said all of this, it doesn’t mean that the Ukrainian government is one thing, but as mentioned many times, Ukrainian people is totally different saying and there’s definitely desire and a lot of sacrifice being done by Ukrainian people for their for themselves.

They’re not fighting for Zelenski and not fighting for Ukraine government; they’re fighting for their own right to self-determination - that’s very simple and their own desire not to be part of the other oppressive system.

There was also appointment of anti-corruption attorney which is much to do about nothing, since about 2015 all of this anti-corruption service agencies or anti-corruption attorneys, they essentially do nothing like a lot of resources and in a way it’s kind of like a another layer on the corruption to the corruption system.

They don’t resolve anything and that’s very misguided policy from the West that pushes for all of this, and it really doesn’t resolve any problems because corruption is a symptom, it’s not the root cause.

By simply having this anti-corruption attorneys who fight sort of corruption you’re not addressing the root cause, you’re addressing the symptoms. There’s this you know analogy with swamp and the mosquitoes on the swarm: so you’re catching mosquitoes, but this swamp produces mosquitoes all the time. You will never solve the problem: by the time you catch one or two mosquitoes, there will be ten more mosquitoes born.

This is again very misguided policy doesn’t lead to any solution and doesn’t really help Ukraine. Nevertheless, this being done and they probably will be again as ineffective as their predecessors and nothing is going to be done, but a huge amount of financial resources will be wasted on their support.

Overall Military Situation:
Ukrainian army was has attacked Russian ammunition depo near Kahovka. Looks like it was successful attack.

Then it attacked this bridge in Darivka over this Enhalets river, again we don’t have any sort of visual visuals from that attack, but we’re pretty sure that there’s additional damage to the bridge; it’s probably barely usable at this point.

The situation is the following: the main Antonisky Bridge is probably barely usable at this point; this bridge over Enhalets near village Darivka is also barely usable at this point; the railroad bridge that’s next to Antonisky Bridge might be usable even though it was damaged, it’s possible that the damage has been repaired or at least superficially just to survive for another months or so so - that is still somewhat unclear.

The dam that goes over the pro river in Nova Kahovka was damaged, the bridge damage was repaired. There was no new attacks to our knowledge, so that is somewhat usable.

The summary is the following: supply has been complicated for the Russian side. It was not severed enough to truly create significant problems, to continue defending Kherson bridge.

This is a very excellent opportunity for Ukrainian side, because this is something that Ukrainian army can chew, can execute - given its generally very low level ability to execute things properly.

Again stemming from the command from the we discussed this question of the Soviet Army. This is just a small Soviet Army versus Russia being the big Soviet Army; its really the clash of the two Soviet Armies and the Soviet Army is the most the most important characteristic of it is insane bureaucracy and disempowerment of everyone.

Where the cognitive system and the system is actually managed quite terribly, leading to extreme waste of resources, and by resources we mean human lives, also physical resources which is less important, but in Ukraine’s case, it actually is extremely important because Ukraine does not have any near level of Russian resources.

To be able to successfully defend itself, it needs to be much much much of more efficient than the Russian army, to inflict the losses that Russia cannot sustain, and have to retreat or sign a peace agreement or whatever. This is something that can be done by a Ukrainian army, it has the tools and by cutting off this effectively Russian supply to the Kherson bridgehead, it creates opportunity to liberate this territories on the western bank of Denier road river.

We’ll see if this is going to be done or this Ukrainian command will lack focus and determination to actually execute on it; it’s trying to do something, but it doesn’t look like it’s determined and focused approach to executing on this whole idea.

Summary:
No changes, apparently Russian troops are preparing for major assault on Bahmut and in Pisky

Key areas:
- Izyum bridgehead: no changes
- North Donbas area: no changes
- Donetsk West: no changes
- Kherson bridgehead: no changes.

1. Kharkiv: No changes.

2. Izyum bridgehead.
New direction of Russian attack from Balakliya towards south, unclear if its large scale attack (new idea) or just distraction.
••Doubt if Orc command has the resources to open a third front here.

3. North Donbass:
Russia troops are preparing for major assault on Bahmut.

••Northern section quiet.
••Middle section is active - Orcs are likely preparing for large assault on Bahmut
••Southern section active - more probing attacks.
••None of these situations under control of UA high command. UA is not capable of countering Russian strategy with artillery. They have the tools to stop the Russian artillery barages, but don’t use them properly - more an organizational and competency problem within UA command.
••Orcs stalled at present at Piskey, the International Airport and the coal mine.

4. West of Donetsk:
Ukrainian troops temporarily stabilized frontline in Pisky.

5. Vugledar: No changes.

6. Velyka Novosilka - Gulyapole stretch of frontline. No changes.

7. Kherson bridgehead: No changes.
••Limited throughput because of the bridge situation - artillery shells are not going to be plentiful.

Meanwhile, the REAL numbers on the Ukrainian side are tragic and result of a Russian blood lust on the part of the Biden regime, NATO and neocons like scumbag Lindsey Graham:

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2022/08/ukraine-sitrep-casualties-leak-ukraine-admits-russian-breakthrough-southern-front-paralysis.html#more

Ukrainian channels are discussing what might be a leaked data from AFU General Staff:

Ukrainian channels are discussing what might be a leaked data from AFU General Staff:

- The AFU are only at 43-48% strength
- medical workers at their limit
- small arms and armor are not enough
- 191 thousand soldiers were killed and wounded (only AFU, not including others)
- there is not enough hydraulics and liquid nitrogen for M777 howitzers
- no one cares about the missing - there are no statistics
- the equipment transferred by the West is running out
- western weapons are operated by amateurs, since there are no qualified specialists
- no way to repair weapons on the spot due to the lack of spares and specialists - everything is sent to Poland

The documents look legit. The overall numbers and issues mentioned seem plausible to me. The high number of casualties (plus the missing) is not astonishing. It would be astonished though if the Russian army and its allies have more than one tenth of those. This is mostly an artillery war and the Russian side has had a vast superiority in guns and missiles.

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson:

https://sonar21.com/there-is-no-fixing-stupid-when-it-comes-to-ukraine/

There is not one area in Ukraine where the Ukraine army has pushed the Russians out of territory they have occupied and held it against Russian counter attacks. Not one. The Russian feint towards Kiev in early March does not count. Western propaganda insists this was a tremendous Ukrainian victory. But Russia used that operation to fix Ukrainian forces around Kiev so that the Russian, Donetsk and Luhansk forces could mass for the offensive to retake the Donbas. And that is exactly what the Special Military Operation has been doing over the last five months.

The only “offense” we are seeing from Ukraine is the shelling of civilians in the Donbas. This does highlight one shortcoming of the Russian SMO–the lack of effective, comprehensive counter battery fire. It is worth noting that the areas being targeted by Ukraine are in the Western part of the Donbas occupied by Russia and its allied Republics (i.e., Donetsk and Luhansk). Killing a few civilians in cities in the Donbas with indiscriminate shelling–while horrific for the families who loose loved ones–does not win the war for Ukraine. In fact, it reinforces its image as a lawless violator of human rights. Still, it is up to Russia to put in place the necessary intelligence platforms required to quickly identify the source of the fires and destroy them.

Ukrainian artillery and HIMMARS will not stop Russia’s allied offensive and force a retreat. Neither will it force a stalemate. Russia has defacto air supremacy and has intact tank battalions and a plethora of artillery and missiles that it continues to rain down on Ukrainian forces.

Putin has been playing rop3e a dope with these clowns. He doesn’t care a bit about equipment or manpower losses. He just wants it to drag on and on and end in what looks like a settlement so he doesn’t have to rebuild the damage he has done but keeps the trillions of dollars of natural resources he has stolen by annexing only what he wants. And, Germany can have whats left since Ukraine will be the poorest country in the EU.
