It used to be anything $100 or more was sent to a lottery agency. But that was years ago, so maybe that’s changed.

I won a 400.00 scratch-off long ago at a 7-11 type store, only smaller.
No problem at all. Maybe it was because I bought the ticket there.

No at the QT and Circle K in my town just outside Phoenix they can’t give me more than $100 at a time. The QT also doesn’t pay out winnings between midnight and 6 am. Bizarre!

In Texas, the scratch off prizes over $599 have to be taken to a claims center or mailed to Austin.
