Arizonans face rising prices and empty store shelves, and they deserve to keep more of their hard earned money in their pockets.

We passed the Chips and Science Act to help lower costs and improve supply chain challenges by increasing American semiconductor manufacturing. pic.twitter.com/0BN07jI8YJ— Kyrsten Sinema (@SenatorSinema) July 29, 2022

Interesting in that she emphasized in her video that the Chips Act was passed with bipartisan support. Manchin's Build Back Broke II has NO bipartisan support.

the only way you can ruin this country thru inflation is to give us more free stuff with fiat money....

Every bill passed by Congresses promises to lower costs. By now, costs should be negative.

Since the bill includes spending $280B, it will increase inflation. Regulatory reform would have done the same thing without the expenditure. But what’s a Democrat bill without huge spending and increasing regulations?

WOW. Thanks. That multi billion dollar handout to Intel, AMD, Facebook and Google will certainly help put food in my belly and diesel in the tank.

This is the sort of stuff we should be supporting.

Take away all the money that is being used to fund solar power, wind power, and EVs and put it into chip manufacturing.

Chips are critical to our economy and our defense. Solar Power, Wind Power, and EVs not so much.

How about the Federal Government GTF out of the way and let Free Enterprise chart its OWN course.

I thought when they raised the minimum wage for the umpteenth time it was going to help.

They never did raise the minimum wage. Minimum wage is 7.25 an hour and has been since 2009. It’s been a long time since some have gotten a raise. 13 years to be exact.

Interesting but I doubt she’ll want to be the lone holdout for something her party so desperately wants.

I remember when it was 1.65, so to me it’s been raised again and again.

That’s what I made at Dairy Queen in 1972. I was living at home and thought I hit the jackpot.

And yet the fast food places are begging for people at $14/hr and down the street *dishwasher* is on a restaurant’s placard for $13/hr. The only people who get a raise if the minimum wage jumps are union workers whose wages are auto-pegged to (something times) that figure.

At least two chip makers have already begun huge manufacturing investments in Arizona.

Sinema is just funding the companies that will help her get reelected.
