The only possible reason I can think of for wanting to destroy the greatest voluntary force in the world is because they no longer want it voluntary.
The only possible reason I can think of for destroying the voluntariness of it is because they want the draft.
The only reason I can think of for bringing back the draft is because they want WWIII.
No one will show up for the draft.
What will happen to them? Nothing.
In their world no one is responsible for anything.

It’s the same thing they are doing with the police — when good people will no longer want to serve, then bad people will. combine the bad people with years of indoctrination and the result will be a military/police force that is more then willing to commit atrocities.

I would maintain it is happening because the Left wants a force they can use for internal repression/suppression of heritage America. And this is how they are bringing that about.
Consider that the Left pretty much indoctrinates your kids K thru 12, and then again in college. But what about those HS graduates who chose not to attend college? That is what the re-instituted Draft will be for. They may be planning for WW3, I do not know. But there are lots of social things that the Left can ram thru if they have total control of draftee’s mind and body for 3 or 4 years.
