“As of December 2021 50,000 GMLRS rockets had been produced, with yearly production then exceeding 9,000 rockets.”

I don’t think its been announced how many rockets UA has received. So someone is just guessing?

Yes, that would be you that is just guessing.

The other guy does geopolitical commentary for a living. He can't get away with throwing horseplop against the wall to see what sticks, or sticks just long enough to fool the audience.

Lockheed might as well start a new production line with all the orders coming in. We have a pretty large stockpile of old M26 rockets with cluster munitions that could legally go to Ukraine (neither the US or Ukraine are signatories to the Convention on Cluster Munitions), but I doubt we will do that. The M26 rocket motors might actually be more valuable combined with SAAB/Boeing’s GLSDB kit, that mates the rocket to a GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb, giving it a 150KM range.

Trivia: Trump saved the M26 stockpile in 2017, as the Obama regime had started destroying them. It’s unclear how many we have, but likely around 300,000.
