I agree with you.

I just don’t see any “fight” in the GOP. The party doesn’t stand for anything and doesn’t want to lead.

Admittedly, there are a handful of people with principles who buck the prevailing current in their party, but they are few.

The GOP basically consists of RINOs, closet RINOs and future RINOs in the making. Party leadership is rotten to the core.

Trump can really hold Kevin McCarthy’s feet to the fire after the election if he chooses to. All he has to do is make a public statement on Truth Social announcing that he expects Kevin McCarthy to have Joe Biden impeached for his refusal to protect our southern border-and then keep pressing him on a daily basis. It will get done.

The RINOS (like Kevin McCarthy) are TERRIFIED of losing Trump’s support, and ironically, DJT has much more leverage with these politicians now, than when he was in the White House.

Why did R Senators vote for this totalitarian bastard in the first place?

“The GOP simply is what it is. A pathetic excuse for a party.”

The voter base is committed to the founding fathers ideals of individual liberty and limited government. The party is committed to big state government and personal wealth enhancement through the benefits afforded to politicians who commit to the advancing the the bureaucratic state and goals of the wealthy donors. The voter base continues to vote for the party because the donor base views the party as the lesser of two evils.

However, evil is still evil and we are realizing the results of decades of voting for evil.

Keep your powder dry, RepubliRINOS! Don’t tip your hand, especially since you have a habit of breaking promises after being elected.

If you get elected, for chrissakes, JUST DO IT. Impeach Garland, Impeach Biden, lock up Hunter and Joe, too. That’s just a start.

Clean house at the alphabet agencies that tried to take out Trump. Fire Fauci’s flip-flopping ass...

So much damage has been done. Time to start undoing it.

“The Republicans have an EPIC opportunity to finally take charge and do what’s necessary to halt the leftist agenda.

This really could be a defining moment for the party.

But I have zero confidence that they want to lead and even less confidence that they will do anything to advance the conservative agenda.

The GOP simply is what it is. A pathetic excuse for a party.”

The Dems are the Evil Party, the Republicans are the Stupid Party. That one simple statement explains about 90% of what goes on in politics.

McCarthy is a coward and there are a whole lot of things not going to get done even if they do win. “Squandering opportunities” should be the GOP’s motto.

This is why we need a “like” button on FR. I utterly despise that traitorous corrupt POS, Cornholio.

Does everyone posting understand the difference between impeachment & trial in the Senate, if convicted by 2/3’rds Senate vote then removal?

I get the impression from the use of the word “impeachment” in this thread many don’t!

Impeachment doesn’t in itself mean removal! Next is trial in the Senate with a conviction\removal only coming from a vote of 2\3’rds to convict.

If you vote impeachment, where are the 2\3’rds vote to convict going to come from?

After the Rat’s making a mockery of impeachment vis-a-vis Trump. I don’t see the point! They’ve reduced it in the eyes of “John\Jane Q. Public” voter to drab uninteresting political theater. I think it would do more harm than good!

Republicans are in the minority in both houses and they don’t have the presidency. It makes sense for jordan to talk future. They can’t do anything now.

Never happen unless the GOP gets 300 or more seats, so overwhelming is their fear of democrat dissent and name calling. Add to that their disinterest in actual governance and the “big red wave” won’t cause a ripple.

I would imagine that there is more than a little dirt on several of them and it would be a shame if somebody leaked it to the “press”, right?

Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
Based on goal #15 of the 45 communist goals for the USA, I always presume first that the RINOs are committed ideologues no matter what they say in public. If they don’t want something exposed by the press, it would be that.
