I believe Trump referred to him as a genius and a great strategist...:-) And, of course, on numerous occasions he has said that he likes Putin and that we can work with him. Unfortunately, the democrats did not permit that since demonizing Putin and Russia were tools for them in their effort (successful, unfortunately) to take Trump down.
