According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) The Military Balance, the Russians have 2,800 tanks and 13,000 other armored vehicles (reconnaissance and infantry fighting vehicles) in units with another 10,000 tanks and 8,500 armored vehicles in storage.Apr 12, 2022

Since the beginning of the special military operation , the following UKRAINIAN weapons have been destroyed : 243 aircraft, 137 helicopters, 1,506 unmanned aerial vehicles, 354 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,020 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 741 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 3,132 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 4149 units of special military vehicles.

Those 10,000s of vehicles are kept in open air storage and are mostly far beyond repair. Tanks, for one, need weekly maintenance and their engines are mostly ceased by now.
