“Tonight in Ukraine πΊπ¦ there were at least 11 new missile strikes on Russian military targets by HIMARS”
At first, I thought that the numbers of HIMARS might be too low to really make a difference. But now it seems to me that they really are changing the dynamics.
It looks like we are transitioning to the next phase of the war now. The Russian offensive in Luhansk seems to have culminated, at least a partial answer to the Russian artillery seems to be occurring with HIMARS, and force generation curves are in question on both sides. It will be interesting to see what shapes up in the next phase.
There was a brief time when the Russians were hitting the Ukrainian transport hubs, but that seems to have passed without changing the game. Now the shoe is moving onto the other foot, and Russian logistics is under deeper attack. I’m guessing that at some point in that Operation against logistics, the Kerch Bridge is going to get hit, and that will signal another phase still.
Let’s hope that war planners have some strategic or Operational surprise coming down the Pike for the Russian forces.
Its amazing (and hopeful) that the Ukrainian Air Force is still flying missions.
12 HIMARS in country or on the way.
18 Panzerhaubitze in country or on the way.
Get that number from 30 up to 50-100 over the coming weeks, and the war in the donbas could turn decisively towards UA.
Just to let you and every one know that the WiU post will be late coming as it is very long.
