As a waiter and bartender in my college days I once served a food critic named Elain Tate for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I had no idea it was her until I ran her card. The restaurant owner showed up at my door at 6:00 AM the following day wanting to know everything I could tell him about how their meal went? I told him “they ate it all and I poured heavy so he should be fine” I must have been uninspiring because she never wrote a review.
