Good point. All the pot convictions were overturned in the states that legalized it.

I think a cop was moving from NH, or somewhere near it, down to Virginia I think.
Got pulled over in NJ and they arrested him.
I think he got prison time...
I’ll check, unless someone else remembers.

Nope. The government and the law don't work that way. That the government unconsitutionally denied people permits (in NY, for over 100 years) goes with ZERO redress.

Pretty much everything the government does is deemed to be done in good faith, as a matter of law, and presumed to be constitutional.

Governor can issue a pardon if he wants, but courts won't do squat.
