Kemp deciding to testify against Trump is icing on the cake. He's a modern day Benedict Arnold. I believe this is also a plan for Kemp to anger voters on the right so he'll lose to Stacey Abrams.

Just because he agreed to testify, doesn’t mean he will throw Trump under the bus. He wants to be reelected, and probably knows there are a lot of Republicans who won’t vote for him, and unlike the primary, Democrats won’t either. If he is neutral, or even defends Trump, I think his re-election chances increase.
