Haven’t read the article, but if you are willing to be the other woman, (or man, yes women cheat too) then understand what that means…. You are and will always be the “other”…
You will never be the primary or priority, you can and likely will be dumped at any time and it may be without any warning.
Their spouse getting suspicious, their family obligations changing, then feeling guilty about what they are doing,, and any other of 1000 different reasons you have no control over can end it.
Morality if this sort of situation aside, if you decide this is what you desire to do, you better accept what all that means….
People cheat, always have always will, not an excuse for it but it is a fact… if you decide you wish to be or are willing to be the other, for whatever reasons, need to accept that this is what you will always be.
It means the person disappears as if they never existed. If a married person ghosts you... either you never actually knew him or they were moving away anyway and didn’t want any loose ends. Didn’t you know where he lived? Where he worked? What his REAL phone number was? I mean, yeah, a 21-year-old on a bad date can ghost you pretty easily. Find a different McDonald’s to flip burgers at and move apartments. But leave a career and sell a house without creating a public record???

Let that sink in for a moment. This woman is a unmarried sloot complaining about committing adultery. Why in the world would anyone take advice on relationships from her? Does one take investment and financial advice from someone who is always broke? No, that would be stupid.

The complaint is basically that their plot to break up the marriage and marry the guy failed.
I know of cases where the plot succeeded. There are second wives that started out as mistresses.
But more often they just find out that they are a temporary piece on the side.

The divorce rates of “Christians” and the attitudes of most “Christian” churches on the subject suggest otherwise.

I hang around in Christian circles. The few I know who are divorced were before they were believers.
One long ago friend did cheat and she booted him.
I can only think if one even remotely recent divorce. He didn’t cheat but was a master at emotional abuse. She finally ditched him.

In a rare flash of insight and wisdom that must have had divine origins, when I was a teenager, it occurred to me that I would never want to be in a relationship with a married, or engaged, man.
Any guy who is taken and would cheat on his wife with me, would not hesitate to cheat on me with someone else. They simply could not be trusted if they didn’t take their marriage vows seriously.
Not interested.
Women who are otherwise homewreckers should find men who are single and unattached if they’re looking for a sugar daddy or some other poor unwitting bastard they think they can boss around and use sex as something to withhold in order to get whatever they want out of a man they don’t really love or even like for that matter.

It means either that his wife found out about you or that he’s found someone else cheaper, easier, younger, and/or better-looking to shtup.
It also means that you’ve been a stupid whore, when you should have been a prostitute. That way at least you’d have some money on the nightstand after he left you.
