Presbyterians eat Krispy Kreme.
Twenty-five mile round trip and double the cost. We prefer to spend our extra money on making God's House beautiful so that Lutheran's and Presbyterians can look at it too (paraphrased from "Prairie Home Companion").
Krispy Kreme does make a superior doughnut, especially the glazed.

Great. Now the cops have nothing better to do than write speeding tickets. And yet they really don't need to; speeding with the price of gas these days is like writing yourself a ticket.
A few days ago I was doing the 80 MPH limit here in Wyoming and saw a pickup coming up fairly quickly behind me. "Bet he's not paying for that gas" was my comment; sure enough it had a company logo on it as it passed.

When you have a standing order of twelve dozen per week you can negotiate a lower rate on an ongoing basis. BoSa is my preferred local doughnut, though Liberty Doughnuts and Rainbow Doughnuts (name predates the connotation) are also good. Hi-Lo was not as good. AZ Doughnut Company gets theirs from BoSa's.

I agree. A bit of a drive, and they cost double, though. Fry's doughnuts are serviceable if you get them fresh made (I pick them up at 7:30 AM).

Probably flour shortage….. if you have a farm channel start paying attention to the crop reports. About 2 weeks ago they were saying the wheat planting was at 50% short of last years crops at the same time.
No shortages at my house since we know how to bake/cook. Thingum-spouse has a great bread cookbook with lots of recipes w/ variations for doughnuts, bagels, pita’s and cookbooks on all kinds of goodies both sweet and savory. We won’t be missing any of this stuff and it makes our parties popular with our neighbors.
In short, if you think your gonna miss it, learn how to make it yourself.
