Had my DNA done a few years ago. The majority (66%) of my ancestry is from England, and northwestern Europe. I’m 8% Scotland, but that ancestry can stretch to Brittany in France. Most surprising was 20% Sweden and Denmark, 4% Norway, and 2% Ireland. My father was born in Holland...my mother in Canada. Neither of them knew any of this, and I never knew any of my grandparents, as they had all died by the time I was born in 1947.
Mine is similar but with some German.
