The EU will collapse as a political entity. Diverse and competing interests, it go the way of Yugoslavia.

Ukraine won't be Ukraine in 12 months so this statement is all politics and the EU knows it.

Exactly, they were denied admission into the EU and NATO since their inception in 1991, for good reasons.
1) They are known in the financial world as the number one most corrupted.
2) They have much poverty, a poor nation. The EU isn’t stupid, why take on a bunch of poor step children?

…..so goes the old saying in the EU….when shaking hands with a Ukrainian, be sure check and see how many fingers he stole, rings true today more than yesterday….10 percent to the big guy is a good reminder.
