••Ukraine volunteer hospital statistics show 99% of wounded due to artillery and mortar fire, while only 1% due to small arms fire. Another data point showing this is an artillery war. In this way, this conflict is very similar to WWI and WWII, and is totally different from all wars that followed, with the possible exception of the Korean War.
••The training the ZSU troops get is, in a way, irrelevant as it is focused on using small arms and preparing for low intensity conflict. How to survive artillery fire not taught to ZSU troops nor is survival in an intense conflict.
••Russia gets $87bbl for exported oil. This is up from $73bbl last month. The whole oil embargo is backfiring, placing the entire burden back on the West. (Edit: this does play into the US war on fossil fuels, EV push, the Green New Deal, and on the deliberate destruction of the US economy in general.)
Russia exports crude to India, India refines the crude into gas and diesel, then exports those produces to Europe and the US - essentially killing those country's own refineries and chemical complexes. Other countries cannot compete against the cheap Russian oil and labor prices of India.

Russia is cutting NG by 1/3rd now and 1/3rd later. All of Germany heavily depends on Russian NG. (Edit: cutting NG to Europe is essentially blackmail. Russia is winning the war by using Europe's dependence of its NG against it.)
This adds to the lowering support by European governments of the war and of Ukraine government. Meeting on 06/15/22 of military donors and supporters of Ukraine gave only 18 more M-777s - in a prior meeting, they gave 90-108 M-777s.

The virtue signaling "sanctions" are helping Russia and hurting the West. As you well know... I am no fan of Putin, or any other communist dictator, but anyone who believes that any plan cooked up by the same people who designed the cut and run from Afghanistan is destined to fail in a spectacular way.
