If you intentionally drove a car into George Gascon, would you get only 5 months' probation?

George Gascon is the Soros-backed twit who masquerades as the Los Angeles District Attorney, when in fact what he does is act as defense attorney for criminals, valuing the lives of those who commit crimes over the lives of the victims. Gascon has a history of leniency for all kinds of law breakers:

December - Gascon tried to have the two previous 'strikes' in the case of a mother accused of murdering her daughter removed. Akira Keyshell Smith, 36, is facing charges for murder, assault on a child, and torture in the death of Eternity Smith, four, who died in August 2020.

January - Hannah Tubbs, 26, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Palmdale, California, branch of Denny’s in 2014 when she was 17. Gascon said she should be tried as a juvenile - and Tubbs was caught on a recorded line in prison bragging about Gascon's lenient sentence. In February, he admitted it was too soft.

BTW, this is "Hannah Tubbs"

February - Gascon admits that a policy he was elected on - a ban on life sentences in murder cases - was not always correct.

- Former Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck has rescinded his support of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón, joining a chorus of law enforcement officials and victims' advocates who have expressed concern over what they deem Gascón's soft-on-crime policies.

It's not as if there wasn't enough room to avoid her

The woman, known as Rachel, can be seen to the right of the image, walking towards the black car

Needless to say, the mom was less than pleased.

She accused the controversial Los Angeles district attorney, George Gascon, of 'prioritizing the livelihood of rotten monsters' with his lenient sentencing, and added: 'George Gascon doesn't value my life or the life of my child, or any other victim out there.'

...

She said she was terrified until he was caught, seven months later, and said she continues to live in fear.

'I was also told that his record would be wiped clean when he turns 18,' she continued.

'How on earth can that be? He tried to murder two innocent pedestrians. Murder. And we have video evidence. My child would be dead if I hadn't been there to protect him.'

Gascon sentenced the deviant to a mere five months in a probation camp for attempted murder. She gets a lifetime punishment. You can see more of Gascon's victims here.

Gascon plays fast and loose with the law, risking the lives of innocent in his crucible. On his first day in office he did away with cash bail. He has had quite the impact on crime

I read there is a recall petition circulating. This prick is as monstrous as those he lets free. I haven't followed Gascon closely since I live in Orange County. Does anyone here know of his excuses for leniency for criminals?

Race equity? Over-crowding jails? Party acceptance? Basic socialist/commie ideology? Bleeding heart? Further political aspirations? Political funding?

A DA can’t sentence anybody to anything. But he can work out plea agreements and make sentencing recommendations. A judge gets the final word. So there is at least one stinking judge backing up this stinking DA.

Without knowing his motivations, I can’t praise him.

But maybe Uhde had the right idea.

If you drove into a White Republican you would be set free. There are two laws in this country. 1. the law as it is on the books. 2. the law as applied.

1 and 2 do not bear any resemblance.

“If you intentionally drove a car into George Gascon, would you get only 5 months’ probation?”

A medal might be more appropriate.

CA Appeals Court Slaps Down Radical LA District Attorney George Gascon

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4068955/posts

The three-justice panel of the Appeals Court said in its ruling that Gascon cannot order prosecutors to refuse to charge three-strikes cases and cannot order prosecutors to drop or withdraw special circumstance allegations.

The ruling upheld an earlier decision from a lower court that came to the same conclusion.

Frustration among career attorneys boiled for months, and finally culminated in the Association of Deputy District Attorneys suing Gascon, saying the policies violated their rights and state law.

“There’s never been a case where a court had to tell a chief prosecutor that his job is to follow the law,” Eric Siddall, vice president of the group, told Fox News. “Just because of the nature of his job, he doesn’t get to ignore or break the law.”

Said Siddall, “This is a win for the voters, a win for the people in the state of California and it’s a win for the line prosecutors. George Gascon and violent criminals, those are the two that lose today.”
