I’ve been with State Farm for about 20 years and was getting ready to go out for quotes because of this disgraceful action but it ‘looks’ like they’ve backed down.

Problem is, the somewhere else may be worse, that is, it looks like 'wokeness' is spreading, although that may be a perception intensified by the strong propaganda campaign, initiated and funded by the U.S. government, to subvert our society. Tell me, if they came right out and said they were communists who hated our free society and are doing everything they can to destroy it, what would they be doing differently, policy-wise, than what they are now doing?

These days an application for a job usually starts with a Q&A session online. I think it would be wise for the session to ask a few questions designed to expose any tendency towards ‘wokeness’. Any follow-up interviewer will be aware of these answers and if the applicant still shows that particular softness in the brain, the interview can be pro-forma and short.

IMO the business of business is business and business only. Any community interaction should be limited to community infrastructure only like a contribution towards a new road or bridge.
