NOTE: The article is from May 25th.
Good for people who let their agents have it.
They’ll probably cave in the end.
Honest ridicule works.
We switched. State Farm is not a good neighbor
Dittos. Homeowner's policy is up for renewal in August - might still leave if they show any signs of backsliding.
They have multiple K-12 LGBT charities they support.
I believe they said they would find other avenues for such LGBT support, and they already had them.
Notice the references?
I heard somewhere that companies are getting pretty big tax breaks for backing the homo groups.
Democrat Kiddie Rapers.
The answer is in your question.
According to the article, one agent, who has a FB ‘private’ page for SF agents (4000) only said that 99% of them were ‘pissed’ about this b.s. and wondered specifically who in SF greenlighted this crap.
“””I’ve been with State Farm for about 20 years and was getting ready to go out for quotes because of this disgraceful action but it ‘looks’ like they’ve backed down.””””
I quit being loyal to any insurance company a long time ago.
You really need to contact a couple of independent insurance brokers and get quotes.
Otherwise, you become one of State Farm’s enablers by staying with them.
Probably a woke executive decided to use corporate resources to advance a social justice agenda. The real test is will the decision maker be fired or will over time that executive hire others to key positions and ultimate convert the company’s values to those of Disney?
Oh yeah? Very interesting and explains a lot if true. I just joined the ‘Consumers Research’ group that made the Twitter video ‘Like a Creepy Neighbor’. Will be researching that a bit. If you can find a link that would be fantastic.
This is an example of what Rod Dreher’s book, “Live Not by Lies”, is getting at. Glad to see pushback. Let’s see what results from it (i.e. will there be torches?).
<< “As soon as we fully understood the issue Monday morning, the first decision we made was to cease our involvement with this organization.” >>
Riiiight, they simple didn’t know what the org was all about! Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket.
The only issue that they finally understood was that that if they continued with their plans to groom children into trans ideology, they’d lose a whole lot of money.
Yeah, you’re right. I’ll probably go ahead and do that.
You can absolutely be assured that if State Farm has been approached about handing out Christian literature or Conservative literature that it absolutely would not have been entertained but let’s invite a group in to discuss little girls’ and little boys’ private parts with strangers.
And I am so sorry for all of the State Farm agents - I am sure they were absolutely blindsided by this crap - perhaps they should sue the home office for loss of business?
And give the name of the person/people who green lighted this. Hold them accountable as well.
Someone at Corporate needs to be held accountable and fired. Otherwise, the cancer is still there and will metastasize.
absolutely
