“First of all, we have all the control, and the control comes from a simple word, and that is ‘no’,” he said. “We just don’t need to comply.”

No speak English. French?
Lost me at “Federal Airline Administration”
I didn’t comply throughout this covid scam. “Put your mask over your nose” NO
One of my operative definitions of a liberal is someone who doesn’t know how to say “No!”.
1. No!
2. Sorry, but, No!
3. Hell No!
Probably, none of us would be alive today if some ancestor. parent, relative or friend hadn’t said one if not all of the 3 versions of No in their life time and maybe our lifetime!
Not as simple as that. There’s a price to be paid for saying no to the “authorities”.
Are you willing to pay it?
So it’s not just saying no, but willingness to accept its consequences and all that that entails - and those consequences are not necessarily trivial.
True dat.
... those consequences are not necessarily trivial.

There should also be non-trivial consequences for unreasonable and inhuman edicts made by illegitimate *authorities..
What you are saying is that too few people are willing to give up the superficial comforts they are still allowed to retain by the illegitimate authorities until the next round of unreasonable and inhumane edicts made by the same illegitimate self-declared authorities.
Be uncomfortable now or be slaughtered later.
Now, _there’s_ a choice.
“What you are saying is that too few people are willing to give up the superficial comforts they are still allowed to retain by the illegitimate authorities until the next round of unreasonable and inhumane edicts made by the same illegitimate self-declared authorities.”
What I’m saying is that simply saying no ain’t going to cut it. You need to weigh putting up with whatever burden or inconveniences you’re currently suffering vs whatever you might suffer as a result of saying “No!”, and act accordingly.
And when you made that determination you better organize and gather as many other “No’s” on your side willing to make the sacrifices, and have a realistic plan to win.
Now you can be a hero and do it as a lone ranger and possibly inspire others. And sometimes that works, as in the case of Rosa Parks, who said “No!” when told to move to the back of the bus. But more often than not you may end up a dead hero.
With so many pilots vaxxed flying is becoming a scary proposition. We don’t need a spate of crashes and incidents of pilots having heart attacks and strokes while driving airplanes full of passengers. I have my tickets for Việt Nam for September and I will go because I probably won’t be able to go again but I am a bit apprehensive.
