After Zelensky was elected, he tried to imprison Poroshenko but the courts stopped him. This is the president most responsible for elevating extremist nationalists in the government and sending them to do atrocities against ethnic Russians in East Ukraine.

Poroshenko was in Poland prior to Pooty's expanded invasion and came back to Kyiv to lead units in the streets for months. If he wants to go back to Poland for ANY reason, for as long as he wants, he's damn well earned it.
He is currently facing high treason charges in Ukraine.
