I think Musk is right (which isn’t unusual). I know several people who voted Democrat for years, but who have now had it with the trans movement, cancel culture, support for “BLM” rioters, winking at homelessness, attacks on freedom of speech, etc.
They used to find Trump odious, but, to my surprise, they’re ready (almost eager) to vote for him in 2024. And they’re voting Republican this year.

Can’t find a person in this town who voted for Biden. Can’t find a bumper sticker, either.
The perception (or belief) among both a majority of Republicans, Democrats and Independents is that the 2020 election was rigged for Biden. (Certainly Democrat electoral fraud is legendary, going back decades.)
It’s only been very recently that this notion our elections are perfect as can be has become the Narrative. This is extremely serious and playing with fire, because trust in our institutions is crucial. The media and leftist political outlets seem disinclined to concern themselves with any of this.
