So, they take over Hawaii, stage out of there and land on the West Coast? And then, DO WHAT? They take SanFran and hold Nanzi hostage? They get welcomed in China Town (LA or SF)? Do they go to the Sierra or to the Rockies?
Sorry, but this does not pass the snicker test! This is like those Law School scenarios where so many improbables are postulated the poor student gets lost in the threads. THIS IS DISINFORMATION on steroids!
Why is this not possible?
China can field and equip 100 million men. Their merchant marine can transport them.
If they can make enough of shock with a nuclear strike on the west coast and the Pacific Fleet, what stops them landing?
The US Army, and Marines, & Gaurd would have to come over the Rockies if the bases and units west of the Rockies are hit with a surprise nuclear weapon from a Chinese sub, with 5 minutes between launch and impact.
If the rest of the country is suffering loss of electric power, loss of communications networks, this buys the invaders time to make a beach head.
It comes down to how fast the people local to it respond and attack the Chinese invaders. I doubt very much that California would do much in response.
But if you wish to dismiss this, please explain logically why it can’t happen.
