NO UPDATES FOR NOW.

ORYX says: “I’m away for several days. The list won’t be updated in the meantime. But not to worry, all losses will eventually be incorporated into the list.”

What I find interesting is that Russian losses begin with destroyed, destroyed, destroyed. Now they are captured captured and captured. I would interpret this to mean that Russian crews are highly demoralized and are giving up without a fight choosing to escape or be captured.

Possibly.
Also maybe running out of fuel, which has been an issue.

Close combat vehicle. Versions tested in Syrian combat.
They were primarily designed after Russias Grozny experience and are to support a mechanized assault primarily in a city context. The design is basically to put out as much firepower as fast as possible to suppress or kill enemy infantry before they can use AT weapons.

*At least 8 new T-90Ms are on their way by rail to Orcs. T-90M is the latest production Orc tank. One was lost near Kharkiv a bit ago and there was some controversy about how it met its end; some have said it was artillery, others have said it was disabled by the UA, abandoned, and finished off by another Orc tank to prevent secret stuff from being discovered.

Here’s one analysis:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjx_GMLF—Y

M-777 News (not verified) From Site Commenter.
The M-777 155mm Artillery gun has an upgrade kit that will Double its Range from the old 20 miles to a new max range of 40+ miles using existing shells.

With a 100-mile range shooting the new GPS-guided subcalibre Hypervelocity round the barrel was designed to fire (adding an anti-air/missile capability to the guns). {Edit: sounds like a very very expensive round.}

The new High Tech composite light Barrel or tube increases its Cal. length from 39cal to 58cal or from about 19 feet to 30 feet before the Muzzle break is added. The barrel also uses a new Propellant and increased charge breach space that significantly increases the gun tube’s maximum pressure beyond what would burst (destroy) all current guns, while having roughly the same weight and balance as the original steel barrel or tube. Allowing the tube to be easily switched with the original short normal pressure tube with a few minor modifications.

This new barrel or tube is now being produced with the production test barrels given to an M-109A6 (now A7) SP Brigade (that originally used the same barrel as the M-777 towed gun) for testing this year. Even though the barrel is now undergoing field tests of the production barrel, the barrel has seen thousands of test firings over several years with the field tests just a U.S. Government formality.

So there is no reason that Ukraine can not put in a Production Order for the new advanced barrels for their 100 M-777A2 and the few M-109s they now have and expect to get, allowing the Factory to continue production instead of shutting down and waiting for the U.S. Military to decide they approve of the new upgraded barrel, want the new barrel and Congress authorizes the money to purchase said same.

Which could take years, if ever with the Airforce against it as intruding into Airforce domain. The New upgrade kit will give Ukraine the longest ranged gun in the world for the price of new barrels...

Making one Supergun worth 4 normal artillery guns. Truly devastating the Russian army who now has twice the number of artillery guns than the Ukraine army has and are rapidly increasing those numbers...

This is why America Must send all 1,000 M-777s in U.S. depots waiting to be scrapped to Ukraine!

And allow Ukraine to buy Supergun Barrel Upgrade Kits for all their M-777 and M-109 Artillery Guns. Allowing the M-777A3 to fire from far out of Russian Anti-battery range!!!

The 90 M-777 can only provide 6 gun batteries for 15 Ukrain Battalions out of the 100+ and they have now and the 100 they are training.

Ukraine must get enough M-777 guns from America to equip all of Ukraine’s Battalion Tactical Groups to Win this War.

**Lyman bridgehead was split into two halves - which is not a good sign, and Orcs will likely clean it up.

**Manufacturing Capacity and Production of Tanks and Armored Vehicles in Russia:
Introduction of the new fighting vehicle, BMPT Terminator, somewhere in Donbas region.
Main factory is just north of Russia’s third largest city.
Backup (tractor) factory some distance due south; this city used to be called Tank City during WWII. Produced about 20% of Soviet tanks.
The difference between the two is the main factory is state of the art. Backup is in pretty bad state. Main factory is largest tank manufacturing facility in Europe and maybe the world. Pictures show factory in good shape. Also makes T-14s. Has old WWII SU-100 on factory floor; used for parades and by Russian separatist forces in Donbas region.

**Terminator BMPT-72 (see video link above):
5-7 spotted in column in Donbas area
Version is T-72 hull with different turret installed; it has two 30mm rapid fire guns, 4 missiles and automatic grenade launchers. Only 10-20 ever made. Experimental, actual use not defined.

Design to suppress opposing infantry in urban environments. A very expensive version of the BMP-2 with more guns. Better than BMP 1, 2, 3s for support.

UA discovered that the sighting device on T-72s can be knocked out with rifle fire, blinding the tank. Once it is blind, it is easy to capture. The BMPT-72 has 2-3 devices: one turret and another in front between the grenade launchers. Sighting device on T-72s and BMPT-72 when damaged, the entire tank has to be sent back to the factory to install a new one. The UA’s T-64s sighting device can be replaced in the field. BMPT-72 is vulnerable to a host of infantry weapons like Javelins, NLAWs, Carl-Gustafs, etc.

**Why is RGF trying to buy UAVs
Orlon-10 embedded in artillery they cannot taken away by other units, and all information stays with the artillery unit.
RGF infantry is blind without UAVs which they do not have; lack of them hurt in early part of war. Now there is a drive to have popular financing to buy UAVs for their infantry. (Edit: How much of the money raised will actually go to buy UAVs and how much goes into someone’s pocket is the question.)

UA gets 50% of its financial support from citizens; money goes directly to infantry soldiers, not to command. Huge drive by people that have money to buy drones to be run by volunteers for the UA; reaction time from need to arrival at front is very quick and a big advantage. (Edit: because these drones are so short ranged, many UAV volunteers are killed.) UA infantry was better equipped than Orc infantry from the very beginning.

Infantry drone requirements are very different from artillery drone requirements; two different worlds. Russian army units seldom talk to each other, while UA Army is more flexible at the “grass roots” level in that regard, than the Orcs. At command levels there is no difference between UA and Russian.

Summary: No major changes of frontline today

Key areas:
- Izyum bridgehead - no changes.
- Lyman bridgehead - was split into two halves as Russian troops captured Drobysheve - Bilogorivka bridgehead: destroyed
- Popasna area: no changes
- Donetsk West: no changes

1. Kharkiv: Ukrainian troops are slowly pushing Russian side out - no changes today.
**92nd still there. 113 and 1287 militia brigades have no heavy weapons and could not withstand regular mechanized Orc advance.
**Kharkiv loss would be catastrophic, it is the center for technical manufacturing in Ukraine. So 92nd will be permanently stationed there.
**UA may have managed to capture bridgehead at Malynivka, but not confirmed yet. Opposed by Orc 138th 3rd rate screening troops

2. Izyum bridgehead. It is extremely dangerous penetration by Russian troops that potentially could lead to large pocket for Ukrainian troops west of Donetsk. No changes today.

3. Lyman bridgehead. split into two halves - Svyatohirsk and Lyman.
**Sign of impending failure. Need to withdraw 79th at first sign of encirclement

Severodonetsk salient:
4. Popasna, Rubizhne and Severodonetsk. Russian troops captured all of Rubizhne. Russian mercenaries - Wagner Group operates in Popasna, also Russian 57 brigade operates there as well. Confirmed capture of Popasna by Russian troops. No changes today
**Orcs expanse north and south to protect Popasna.
**UA 24th needs reinforcements to keep Orcs at bay.
**Main supply road under constant Orc shelling. UA uses the more difficult back roads
**Most critical place on the entire front line for UA.

5. West of Donetsk: Avidyivka and Maryinka. Avdiyivaka - never ending attempts of the Russian side to break-through there. No changes

6. Vugledar is in Ukrainian hands. No changes today.

7. Velyka Novosilka - Gulyapole stretch of frontline. Ukrainian strongholds are towns of Gulyaypole and village of Velyka Novosilka. Russian 19D is operating there. Russian troops are consolidating their gains. Also, 42D has been spotted in the area. The most northern group of Russian troops has been stopped before village of Vilne Pole. Ukrainian side brought its 128 brigade and regiment Azov-Kyiv to stop Russian advance there.

8. Mariupol: process of surrender of Ukrainian defenders. About 2500 in total, out of which 400 wounded, 800 were Azov troops. Other units represented: 36 brigade, 53, 54 brigade, 12 National Guard brigade, standalone battalion.
**Surender of defenders: There were 200 bodies or dead troops in addition. 300 that surrendered were wounded and 55 were seriously wounded. Azov wounded were brought to Rostov on-Don and were interrogated by FSB/GRU. Others brought to town to the north, and the remainder to a prison south of Donetsk.
**Orcs claim it was an unconditional surrender; UA says a conditional surrender: keep all prisoners alive. Orcs say they will kill all Azovs and all who fought with them. Another condition, by the UA, was that the troops captured be exchanged for Orc troops captured. Truth will come out later.
**A month or so ago, several groups managed to walk out and get to UA lines, since Orc troop level was not very dense at the time. Some of the UA’s best troops are now prisoners.

9. Kherson bridgehead: no changes.

captured captured and captured. I would interpret this to mean that Russian crews are highly demoralized and are giving up without a fight choosing to escape or be captured.

It could also mean they were abandoned because their sighting device was shattered by rifle fire, blinding the tank and making it useless.

The Terminator isn’t going to save RU.

Maybe the T-14? Oh wait, it keeps breaking down during parades.

“My personal opinion is that a machine like the Terminator is dubious. Simply because it does not have any advantages that are significant over the main battle tank. Neither in terms of the fire control system, nor in terms of the capabilities of conducting reconnaissance, surveillance and target designation, nor in terms of the capabilities of their weapons. That is why I say that finding the Terminator’s place in battle formation is problematic.”[39]
“In terms of its reconnaissance capabilities, the BMPT offers nothing to surpass the means of observation and fire control of the contemporary tanks.”[40]

“Kremlin-led Donetsk Oblast proxies claim that top-ranking commanders defending the Azovstal steel mill were not among about 960 soldiers that surrendered to the Russian forces.”

Not much changing. Russia is continuing slow progress in capturing Donbas. Lyman will fall within a week or 2 and Russia will attempt to encircle the area between Lyman and Popasna. A little over a month ago, this encirclement was supposed to be from Kharkiv to Dnipro. We’ll see how the battles for Lyman and Severodonetsk go, and how much it costs each side. Then it’s on to Slovyansk and Kramatorsk.

That`s what i thought too initially. But if you click on the entries you find they are not sorted by chronological order but by category, meaning all destroyed vehicles of one type are grouped together, then all abandoned, and so on.
