Stopping Ethanol subsidies would make corn affordable again for many countries south of our border, which might actually encourage some of them to stay home.
Can’t have that happening.
We could make the ethanol and lower the price.

Why do we seldom hear from environmentalists about the pesticides and fertilizers flowing from the farmer’s fields to the Mississippi river down into the Gulf of Mexico. There is a dead zone. Sorry not sure how to post a link on FR, but a search reveals many sources.
