Windoze suks - Amen Bro.

I’m sure it is not news to some but it seems that M$ is using it’s huge, overweight, slow OS to drive hardware sales. Despite what M$ says you cannot run W10 on less than 8Mb RAM. In fact some trade mags are saying that 16Mb will soon be the minimum RAM for acceptable performance. And now W11 requires a processor that must be newer than a few years old. I have four Windoze systems in my house that are only a few years old and non of them qualify to run W11.

Fortunately I use Linux for my daily work and only use a W10 machine when I need to use Word.

Now who in the world tries to run a windows sys on 8mb these days? Even 16mb would be ridiculous. There aren’t really people trying to run a computer with only 16mb ram anymore, are there?

My modest machine runs on 32GB ram. That’s 32 Gigabytes ram, not megabytes. And you seem to be saying that your running with only 8mb or even 16mb? What am I missing?
