The Ukrainians have — twice in the last 24 hours — stopped Russians efforts to cross the Siverskyi Donets River in the Luhansk oblast, blowing up two pontoon bridges near Bilohorivka.
A satellite image collected by geospatial intelligence firm BlackSky shows a Russian pontoon bridge crossing the river on May 10 shortly after a Ukrainian artillery barrage hit the surrounding area.
The Ukranians are not pushovers...that much has been proven.

Yep, it wasn't Ukrainian forces that blew up those two pontoon bridges!
It was... Lemme see... A Russian soldier who carelessly discarded a live hand grenade that blew up the one pontoon bridge... Yeah, that's the ticket! And another Russian soldier who, just five minutes later, accidentally activated the other bridge's "self-destruct sequence."
So yuh see, it wasn't the cowardly Ukrainian soldiers at all! It was all due to pure carelessness on the part of the Russians.

I think something like 30+ Russian armored vehicles crossed before the bridges were blown and were abandoned, which now means the Ukes can take those and use em.

My 80’s Infantry platoon Sgt taught us a valuable lesson: One of the deadliest traits to develop is to be predictable.
So, dont walk on the roads, attack from the easy side, put your foxhole were everyone else would.
And in this case - dont cross a river at the easy location.
