Meet Elizabeth Deutsch. She's currently a law clerk for Justice Breyer. And, in my humble opinion, she's the most likely person to have leaked the draft Supreme Court opinion in Dobbs, purporting to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Then I retired a few years ago and got involved with the Master Gardener program in North Carolina, which is run primarily through NC State. This has opened my eyes to the fundamental and practical good that these land grant colleges do. Sure, they have lunatics in their faculty, but most of them are focused on things like clean water and food and sanitation and shelter. OTOH the elites spent their time arguing about who owes what to who. I think if we could avoid have another Ivy Leaguer in the SC for 100 years, we might actually survive as a nation.

I am very impressed and envious of your master gardener status. I can easily deal with the lefties and hippies in such a program. I would find it fun plus I would enjoy hearing them out. You must meet all types. My claim to agricultural fame is 10+ fruit trees. I sell or give them away. I meet all types. Some born abroad, and with blacks and Hispanics I would not meet otherwise.

I am prejudiced, but I take each person fairly as he comes along. Everyone on this planet is a surprise and is unique.

Wow, I think he nailed her. Entire career based on abortion, married a journalist who shared a by-line with the journalist who broke this. Her husband and that guy are still close. And she clerks for Breyer who is about to leave. She’s the one.

Amit Jain, being Indian, he will be more careerist. More fearful of messing up his career. His paraent have drilled this into him. So the culprit is this Elizabeth Deutsch woman or someone similar. A lefty American with (probably) wealthy parents. She knows that she will get fame and that her leak will not kill her law career. Plus she has two large fallbacks and supports. Her husband and her wealthy parents. Plus she can always switch to making babies, putting her law career on the back burner.
