I read DAY OF DECEIT by Robert Stinnett. FDR instigated Pearl Harbor and coming from him about “coincidences”, I just take it with a grain of salt. I didnt even know McCollum’s 8 point Memo was real until I saw it.

Not an FDR fan myself.

I just like to quote famous democrats because just like a broken clock is right twice a day, they sometimes get it right.

FDR knew exactly what the game was with respect to Germany and Japan. He seemed to be lost when it came to the Soviets, but with his merry band of communists I suspect he may have been a closet socialist. Perhaps even more ironic is that FDR managed to get it right when it comes to American involvement and timing of entry in WWII. IF the Japanese had not sensed the Americans as a threat, they would have continued to force Zhukov and his armored divisions to stay in Siberia. The Soviets would have collapsed to Germany, IMHO.
