No, “vacated” is used all the time.

That’s what I meant - they would say “vacated” rather than “overruled.”

23600 hits for “vacated.”

I’m not sure but I want to say that “overruled” is for lower court rulings - I’m not sure if another SCOTUS opinion is ever overruled. (?)
