Probably most, given what they went through, and I also can’t fault that. Even so, it’s been a while. All countries in that part of the world had Nazi collaborators to some extent back then, but today only Ukraine actually made them part of their government.
The leader that the Russians usually single out as their basis for claiming the Ukrainians are nazis actually spent time in a German concentration camp himself. He was murdered by the KGB after the war.
The same people who claim that what Ukrainian partisan fighters did during World War II define who the Ukrainian young people and children of today are do not apply the same logic to France, Belgium, Italy, or Germany. Each of those nations had their governments assist the nazis, and the Germans of course were the nazis.
If a 20 year old kid in Ukraine today is a nazi because of what happened in his country in the 1940s then isn't a 20 year old kid in Germany a nazi too?
The answer of course is no for both kids, and the claims that Ukrainians are nazis is just more Russian propaganda to cover up for their invasion of a peaceful neighboring country. Sort of like a certain German did in the 1940s.
