Why would anyone want to buy a Washington Post or New York Times newspaper since they are not even pretending to be objective any longer, let alone actually being objective?

As it is, the people who subscribe to those rags now would not have it any other way. They stopped believing in objectivity a while ago and want to exist in an echo chamber of their pretensions, it's what they're paying for!

Which makes the twitter buyout more important - now that the market for real news has been abandoned, maybe twitter under Musk can help supply it. can't be any worse.

I totally agree that the main subscribers to the mainstream gave up objectivity long ago. It’s the ones on the proverbial fence we need to reach; the ones who still think of these awful rags are still, somehow, someway, newspapers of record, authorities to be listened to if not trusted.

If you want to make libtards really mad, start referring to Elon Musk as an “African-American,” which of course is what he is given where he was born....
