Shelves are full here in every store in southern NY and northeast PA. Not one thing I normally buy has been sold out and prices have increased maybe 5% in the past year.
The one thing with a major increase has been Pacific seafood since much of that was Russian. Wild salmon jumped 20% since the war.
I recently bought a new car and there were 5 of the model I wanted to choose from in stock and I paid less than MSRP. I still don’t believe it. A few months ago I couldn’t find one car even hundreds of miles away and they were going for at least 30% above sticker sight unseen. The chip shortage has definitely improved here.

Palm oil is hard to find in stores anyways.
However, it would probably behoove people to consider adding cooking oil to their prep plans.
My wife just came in and told me “she just saw on the news that someone was sabotaging food processing plants.” One of them was in El Paso.. That's all she knows..

I can’t say for certain, but I’m sure wondering about September / October 2022.
Especially given the current war concerns, skyrocketing food prices, etc.
